The Philippine National Railways will resume full operations by June 15 to accommodate the influx of passengers when the school year starts. It stopped operations last May 5 to conduct repairs following the derailment of its train earlier.

PNR officials also said that it is seeking a P5 increase in fares for upgrades ranging from station improvements to security enhancements.

They better resume soon, as according to sources, PNR is losing nearly a million pesos for each day of no operation.
