Cebu’s top druglord, Jaguar, is dead. He was neutralized together with his bodyguard in a Las Piñas City raid by Cebu police operatives Friday night, June 17.

Jeffrey “Jaguar” Diaz and his still-unidentified bodyguard were killed as they were rotating among his 8 safehouses.

He was tracked there by the Regional Intelligence Division-7 headed by Col. Rex Derilo and Regional Special Operations Group-7 headed by Brgy. Labagnon’s very own Col. George Ylanan.

Jaguar bodyguard down!

The Jaguar of drugs has been skinned.

Diaz’s death happened a few days after he revealed that he stopped dealing in drugs after the arrest of his wife.

His statement that he was retiring was found to be false. Despite apologizing and expressing to give up his life of drugs, particularly addressed to incoming President Rodrigo Duterte, police surveillance revealed that he was setting up a new base of operations in Luzon, and was therefore lying.

The encounter with the police skinned the Jaguar for good.
